Blurb Mobile

Hi, everyone :) We are going on discovering amusing ways for learning or using English.I will tell about Blurb Mobile in this week. It is a digital storytelling app and an online-based book publishing service that allows everyday folks and professionals alike to publish their own . It allows you to sequence photos and videos, add audio or background music to make a short story. Any photos or videos on a smartphone can be imported into the app to begin a story. There is the capability to edit the movie once it has been made or as you are making it. You can crop, rotate, and sequence the photos within the app and there are numerous effects to choose from to add creativity to your story. These movies can then be shared easily through social networking sites.
You can use existing photos or start a story straight from the in-app camera.

After adding all of my photos and inserting the story title, I tapped the “Style” button, which brought up the options for themes, as well as the adjustment tools and custom color enhancements.

Tapping the “Layout” button at the bottom of the story editing screen brings up a scroll bar full of various image layouts that can each be used as a single “page” in the story.
,

If your story needs some narration, this is the place to do it.  By tapping the microphone icon in the story menu, you will be taken to a simple audio recording interface that lets your record clips up to two minutes long.

After your story is finished, it is made in to an automated slideshow, which is assigned an online URL and stored in Blurb’s “Story Stream” online.  The slideshow can then be played back on your mobile device, emailed to friends, or posted directly to Twitter or Facebook.

As a result, you study amusingly thanks to technology.  For example,  Photo books, cookbooks, a book about your family vacation – if you can think of it, chances are, Blurb can print it up and make it in to a book for you.

Starfall

Hi! I am going to tell about Starfall. It intends for children to read with phonics ever since. The systematic approach, in conjunction with phonemic awareness practice, is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, special education, homeschool, and English language development (ELD, ELL, ESL) It consists of four section: ABCs, Learn to read, It is fun to read and I am reading. Its methodology motivates children in an atmosphere of imagination and play. The teacher-guided and child-directed nature of our curriculum products ensure English language learners and struggling readers learn alongside their peers. Starfall is supported by the Polis-Schutz family. Stephen Schutz and poet Susan Polis Schutz founded Blue Mountain Arts publishing company and together with their son Jared Polis. The Polis-Schutz family shares a passion for education. Starfall is produced by a dedicated and talented international team of educators, writers, artists, designers, animators, musicians, and programmers led by Brandi Chase. Roger Wilson leads our computer engineering team. Jamison Hill leads our customer service team. Starfall offer to children to read passages and play game. For example, after being teached the allphabets, vocabularies and their pronunciations are vocalized beside visual aids or being made matching letters with incomplete word. Then stories are read with songs and images. This site is advantage for reading and learning accurate pronunciation because it makes learning enjoyful with songs  and images so students don’t bored with learning English. It teaches student make sentences at the same time. Grammer is induced. Only English is used. This is an advantage generally but  it is inadequate in some point; when children cannot understand, there is no native language equivalent. However it is generally useful site for children. It is very amusing and make students love English. I intensely recommend to you.
